BST has a 30 years experience and an extended knowledge due to the development, optimization and final production of biosensors of different generations (membrane type, thick film type, thin film type, sensor array) and the development and production of instruments based on biosensors as well. The basic knowledge and outstanding developments are covered by more than 40 patents.
Cooperation with industrial partners goes back to the late seventies, did result in the first biosensor based glucose analyzer in Europe in 1982 (Glukometer GKM) and is continued until today. Based on this experience we can offer a wide variety of services to industry and research institutions as well. Our partners and clients come from all over the world.
