The GLUKOMETER PRO works like a laboratory instrument using a multi-way glucose biosensor, which will remain in the device for 30 days. The device is 500g light and mobile. It processes not pretreated whole blood samples. Only a few seconds after the sample intake the GLUKOMETER PRO provides a plasma calibrated quality-assured result.
Therefore the GLUKOMETER PRO is suited for:
i) the implementation of the 75-g OGTT according to S3 guideline GDM
ii) the primary diagnostic according to practice guidelines of the German Diabetes-Society
